I can say that I, too, have the qualities that I've stated below that I'd like my ideal woman to have. Fair is fair, after all... how can I expect something from someone else if I can't return it?

I can also say that I'm reliable, kind, patient, and understanding.

I'm looking for someone that is intelligent, thoughtful, honest, open, caring, responsible, curious, affectionate, and playful. I desire someone that is mature, yet young-at-heart and looks forward to each new day.

She should appreciate that marrying a foreign man and moving to his country will be difficult in the beginning. It may take years before she truly feels completely at home in her new country.

I believe the single most important thing she can do to help, is to learn the language of her new land BEFORE she moves there! In my opinion, one full year of language study is the minimum necessary, and realistically two years or more of study will go far to helping her acquire the necessary skills. Without adequate language skills, EVERYTHING will be MUCH harder in her new country, and these difficulties will surely affect and include her relationships.
